I was just browsing around on cbc news right before I was about to head to bed. I came across this story, in our very own, Winnipeg, MB, and was repulsed by the story I read.

What in god's green earth is wrong with people? The article makes me sick to my stomach, and on some levels (very minor levels) I can relate to this story. At the university I attend, the washrooms in my faculty building, as well as commonly in residence, stink of that raw sewage smell. Do they bother to take the time to fix it? Nope. They often just put a ton of cleaning chemicals (yay, more chemicals) into the bathrooms to help be rid of the smell. OH! Or even better, they keep the doors open...
What ever happened to fixing a problem? Have the bigger guys (i.e MB Housing) become so holy and mightier than everyone that they can forget about the people who made them who they are? You are only around to represent those less fortunate than us, and give them reasonable housing. That is all you are here for... and you cannot even fix a pipe? Clean up some potentially deadly mould? Acknowledge that you are causing several tenants in that complex health issues? Really? REALLY?!
What is happening to this world ... my god ... if this is just Manitoba, little Manitoba, what the heck is going on in the rest of the world?
Come on people ... make change.
Be the change.
